February

February sucks. Too bad the nice weather from last week didn’t  hold out til summer! We’ve been keeping busy at the shop, building up a ton of wheels and trying to get some more used bikes in stock.  As always we accept trade in’s no matter their condition. New BMX lines: Superstar, Hoffman, Tree, Coalition, United, Animal.

New Video from Hot Lava!

Since it’s slow and cold as shit, we’re gonna be redesigning our t-shirt and putting out some stickers. Got any ideas? We’ll throw down $150 shop credit for the best design and two $50 dollar credits for runners up. Designs due in by March 3rd.  Be creative. It’s gotta say Bunnyhop on it somewhere, but other than that it’s up in the air. Full color is ok, but 3 color or less will probably win out, as process screenprinting is wicked expensive. Submissions go to luke@bunnyhop.org or drop them by the shop in person. All submissions will be available for viewing on the site. Good Luck!!

PS. The Tour of California internet coverage is not bad! There’s no Bob Roll, but it’s still worth a look.

Winter Update!

Hey everybody! Hope things are good. This is the first update to the website in a very long time and it is way overdue. We’re easing in to this new technology. It’s not as easy to put together as a bicycle!

The shop has been doing well, Neil and I are just getting started on the BMX section and also changing the layout of the store to make things look a little better. The new Odyssey Glow In the Dark Pedals came in and they’re totally funny looking. Also got some new wheels from KHE, Primo, and G-Sport. The new Volume Cutter track frames are in and they are pretty sweet! We still have a 53cm in silver, and a 56cm in blue. This should be the last of the 2008 models and they come with a free FBM or Eastern Integrated Headset. Some new Velocity product is on the way, with colored spokes available in white, red, blue, green, and yellow for the same price as our standard DT spokes.

Just a reminder for all you gear junkies, the Stop Swap and Save Bicycle Swap is coming to Chesterfield on Sunday, March 1st.  It should be a good time, and I’m willing to bet there are some deals to be had. Also if you’re in a traveling mood, check out the Pensacola Beach Cat and Polo Invite on February 8th – 15th! We went down last year and had a blast!

Anyhow, Stay warm! <3 Luke/Bunnyhop
